LOCAL CHURCH

The Local Church serves as an extension of the district presbytery of Pillar of Zion Church International. It is led by a Chosen Elder who oversees the daily operations of the church. This Elder acts on behalf of the District Pastor, supported by Deacons, Deaconesses, committees, and the Heads of Ministries. Together, they ensure the smooth running and spiritual guidance of the local congregation.

The Local Presbytery is the highest decision-making body of the Local Church. It is composed of the Appointed Branch Pastor or Caretaker and their spouse, a Presiding Elder or Elder, a Secretary and Assistant Secretary, a Treasurer, and the heads of ministries. This council convenes at least once a month to discuss and decide on important matters. Chaired by the Pastor or Caretaker, the Local Presbytery ensures that the church's operations and activities align with the overall mission and vision of the Pillar of Zion Church International. Their leadership is vital in fostering spiritual growth, community engagement, and organizational integrity at the local level.
